Random Sightings
It seems that I have been very observant lately. Or, perhaps I am looking for signs. I have found myself declaring a "tree of the day". This occurs when throughout the day I spot a beautiful tree, one that stands out to me. I spend a moment to gawk at the lovely tree, declare that it is "the tree" and complete that task for the day. It's amazing I will probably never declare the same tree. Over the weekend, on my usual journeys, I spotted an elderly man riding his bicycle. It was a rather cold day that day and he had the appropriate attire to keep him warm. But as we pulled up to the red light and as he slowly rode by I noticed a long strand of what appeared to be snot dangling from his nose. Does he know this snot is swinging ever so freely? Is his nose that numb that he cannot feel the pouring out of nasal excretions? Poor old man... It is amazing the things we notice. This morning, on my normal routine of waking up, brushing my teeth and starting my day. I realized that on my toothbrush it says REACH. What an interesting name for a toothbrush. So I reached for my toothpaste. Noticing on the toothpaste that it says AIM. Wow! Now my tooth brushing experience has been elevated! I found myself reaching to scrub my teeth and aiming to target any cavities. What a great way to start my day. What would life be like without these labels, sightings, and thoughts?

What kinds of trees are your favorite, big, old and leafless or trees that make you want to climb them?
I prefer the leafless, dark, twisty, sleepy hollow like feel. Size does not matter.
Please do not leave comments like this. I will have to answer for them.
Adam, I don't know what this comment means!
I'm sorry that you feel, during a discussion of twigs, that you have to answer for it.
